Vinegarette Salad Dressing

  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic sliced into 4 pieces
  • 1/2 c rice wine vinegar
  • 1/2 t sugar or honeypinch of salt
  • grating of pepper
  • 1/2 t mustard
  • 1/2 t oregano (crushed)

Stir all together. It's best to make this dressing several hours before serving so the garlic will flavor the dressing better. Refrigerate left over dressing. You can remove garlic or leave in for stronger garlic flavor.

Options: Add 1 tbsp mayo & blend with hand blender for creamy Italian.

substitute 2t lemon juice for some of the vinegar. You can add some chopped parsley or chives for a different taste too.
