Pork and Bows Skillet Dinner

  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • 3/4 lb boneless pork loin - 3/4“ cubes
  • 1 cup onions - chopped
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 2 large red potatoes - 1/2” cubes
  • 3 cups bowtie pasta
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 Tbsp all purpose flour
  • 1 cup peas - frozen
  • 1 cup peas and carrots - frozen
  • 1/8 tsp pepper - coarsely ground
  • 1/4 cup parsley (optional)


  1. Melt butter in skillet, brown pork, remove pork and brown onions 5 min.
  2. Add broth, potatoes, and pasta. Bring to boil, cover, simmer for 10 min.
  3. Blend milk and flour and add to skillet. Add browned pork, peas, peas/carrots, pepper. Cook stirring occcasionally until it thickens and the potatoes and pasta are tender, 8-10 min.
  4. Sprinkle with parsley if desired and serve.


Serves: 4-5       Total cook time: 30min
