Old Fashioned Dump Cake
1 large can cherry or apple pie filling
1 large can pineapple chunks - drained
1 package yellow cake mix
1 cup melted margarine
1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
1 cup coconut
Preheat oven to 350 deg.
Spread pie filling evenly in bottom of greased 9×13 baking pan.
Arrange pineapple chunks over pie filling.
Sprinkle dry cake mix over fruit.
Cover with melted margarine.
Top with coconut and nuts.
Bake for 1 hour on middle rack until coconut is browned.
Serves: 12 Total cook time: 1 hr.
