Cranberry Relish
1 package (12 oz.) fresh cranberries
2 medium Pippin or Granny Smith apples - peeled, quartered, and cored
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup orange marmalade
2 tsp lemon juice
2 tsp Grand Marnier
1 1/2 cups chopped walnuts
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
Process cranberries in food processor with metal blades. Remove to large bowl.
Process apples in the food processor and add to bowl with cranberries.
Stir in the remaining ingredients and mix. Add additional sugar if required.
Cover the bowl tightly and refrigerate overnight before serving. May be refrigerated up to 2 months.
Alternative: substitute 1 orange for 1 apple and 1/4 tsp allspice for cinnamon
Serves: 8-10 Total Prep: 30 min. + overnight refrigeration
