Chocolate Pudding Fudge Cake

  • 1 (18.25 oz.) package devil's food cake mix
  • 1 (3.9 oz.) package instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups (12 oz. pckg) semisweet chocolate chips
  • 6 Tbsp butter
  • 1 cup (6 oz.) chocolate chips


  1. Preheat oven to 350 deg. Grease and flour a 10“ Bundt pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine cake mix, pudding mix, sour cream, milk, oil, water, and eggs. Beat for 4 min., then mix in 2 cups chocolate chips.
  3. Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake in the preheated oven for 40 to 50 min. or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean and the batter jostles as a solid. Cool 10 min in pan and separate sides with teflon spatula. Turn over onto serving plate and cool completely.
  4. To make the glaze melt the butter and 1 cup chocolate chips in the microwave oven until liquid. Stir until smooth and drizzle and spread over the cake.
