1 12 oz. bottle English brown ale or doppelbock style (Spaten Optimator)
Heat oven to 350 deg. Grease a 9“x5” loaf pan.
Whisk together the flours, cornmeal, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
Add the oil or butter and beer. Stir just until everything is combined.
Pour into the loaf pan and bake until the loaf is nicely browned and a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean, 55-65 minutes. Cool on a rack for 15 min. before removing from the pan and serving.
Serves: 8-10 Total cook time: 55-65 min.
