snmptrapd

  • daemon configuration file is /etc/default/snmp
    • set trapd to run manually & specify flags as necessary
  • main configuration file is /etc/snmp/snmptrapd.conf
    • calls snmptt via traphandle default /usr/sbin/snmptthandler
